One of the most energetic and inspiring forces in the UK’s music scene, LCGC is made up of an eclectic mix of people from diverse backgrounds, embodying their message of God’s love, peace and unity in a refreshing and invigorating style of Gospel.

From Europe’s premier gospel choir, Sanctified are an energetic, live music ensemble based in London. Our musicians have played for chart-topping artists and our singers have graced some of the biggest stages in the world.
Each show is a fun, nostalgic journey combining Gospel music that the London Community Gospel Choir are known for with RnB, Soul and Hip-Hop. It’s the only place where you will find Gospel and urban music fused seamlessly.
Bazil Meade MBE
The pioneer and founder of the UK’s first gospel community choir (LCGC).
Under his direction and tuition some of the industry’s finest gospel and R’n’B singers have blossomed and found successful careers and can be seen with artists such as Ellie Goulding, Madonna, Eric Clapton, Sam Smith, Damon Albarn, and Emili Sande as well as private individuals merely wanting to learn or improve their skills.
He has provided musical direction for the hit west end production ‘Mama I Want To Sing’, the BBC film ‘Hallelujah Anyhow’ and provided his music and choir for The National Theatre’s production of “The Amen Corner” by James Baldwin.
Continuing to live the dream, he now tours the “The Bazil Meade Experience” to relive the music of his youth inspired by soul, jazz and gospel.
Bazil is constantly in demand throughout Europe and Scandinavia where he conducts gospel workshops and masterclasses. Servicing the budding interest in gospel.

The BME Gospel Choir Masterclass is a unique opportunity for your group to learn how to blend as a choir, deliver Gospel dynamics and Gospel vocal techniques.
We also offer the one-day workshop and recording session package, where your choir/group can come to East London to our rehearsal/ recording studios to work on your original song and record in our state-of-the-art recording studio with Bazil arranging and our musical director, Leonn Meade, producing your song.
